Licence

Last updated

Draft. This page hasn't been reviewed yet and may change before launch. It has 1 unfinished part, marked TODO.

This licence covers templates, UI kits, Claude skills, bundles and free downloads from figmatro.com. Figma plugins are covered by Figma’s Community Paid Resource License instead.

When you buy or download a product, we give you a non-exclusive, lifetime licence to use it as set out below. We keep the copyright.

You can

  • Use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects.
  • Use it in work for clients, and hand the finished work to them.
  • Change it, combine it with your own work, and build things with it.
  • Use it in products you sell, such as apps, websites or printed goods, as long as people are buying your product, not our files.

You can’t

  • Resell, share or give away the files themselves, changed or unchanged.
  • Include them in another template, UI kit, skill pack or asset library, free or paid.
  • Upload them where others can download them, such as a public Figma Community file or a public repository.
  • Claim you made them.

Who can use it

One licence is for one person. TODO: decide on team use, e.g. a team licence at checkout, or “one licence covers a team of up to 5”.

Free downloads

Free downloads have the same licence, at no cost. If you’d like to share one, link to its page here instead of sharing the file.

If you break the licence

The licence ends, and you must stop using the product in any new work. Anything you’ve already finished and delivered can stay as it is.

No guarantees beyond the law

We make our products carefully, but we provide them “as is”. We don’t guarantee they’ll suit every project. Your rights under consumer law aren’t affected. See our terms and refund policy.

Questions about a particular use? Ask at figmatro@gmail.com. We say yes more often than not.
